Camille Romagnani gathers material from the places she travels through and transforms these physical and emotional finds into sculpture. Drawing on the forms of folktales and ancient artifacts, her work explores ecology, connections to a territory, and human-nonhuman collaborations. Her work revolves around an imaginary realm of care and hope, inviting us to envision new horizons.
About Camille
Camille Romagnani est une artiste franco-chinoise née en 1992 vivant à Paris. Formée au design textile à l’ENSCI–Les Ateliers à Paris, elle s’y forme à une approche tactile et sensorielle du monde. Ayant grandi entre la Chine et la France, puis travaillé à Taïwan, elle vit ensuite plusieurs années à Athènes, où elle débute la céramique, qui devient le medium principal de son travail de sculpture.
